A century ago, my grandfather Ramón established a candle factory in northern Peru after migrating from the Basque region of Spain. Today I continue my family’s legacy by handcrafting candles under the name Vasko, which means “Basque” in my grandfather’s native tongue. I hope you feel our sense of dedication - across borders and generations - in each rich, layered note of our signature scents like “Mundaka,” named after the city where my grandfather was born.
